Think INK Challenge #24

Artful INKables July Release Blog Hop

Hello! Welcome to our July Blog HOP! We have two REALLY FUN new sets to share with you today. Both are so versitile and exciting to work with. The first is called Sew You and many of the members of the Design Team will be sharing some fabulous projects with you using that set. The second set, Spot on Summer, is the one I used for today's hop. This set holds so many possibilities...it has a variety of images and matching sentiments and oodles of potential for stepping up each image with a variety of different embellishments.

My sample uses 3 different stamps from the set and 3 different ways to fill the spots left open in each image. One, a spotted decorative button, sewn with a cotton thread, the second, a small shell button knotted with a piece of hemp rope, and the third, a plastic decorative swirl, found in a set of shaped buttons. It is all finished off with one of our new aquatic themed charms and some great looped green trim. Other ideas for embellishing this set; flowers, large brads, gears, punched circles and even just stamped circles from the set itself.
