Welcome

HELLO! Welcome to my New Blog!

I have started this blog because I have started a new adventure! I am about to become a rubber stamp designer and business owner!! That's right, on March 1st Artful Inkables will not only be my own stamp line but also my own company!! I will be offering my exclusive hand-drawn designs in deeply etched red rubber stamps on my new website in a little over a month's time! Isnt that exciting?!?

Here is a bit of background for those of you who dont know...I began designing stamps about a year ago for Tracey over at Starving Artistamps. I drew the stamps and she manufactured them and sold them through her store. In other words, she did all the hard stuff, lol. Well now that I understand the whole process much better than I did a year ago, I decided I needed to try all this on my own. So thanks to Tracey for all the help and support you've shown me but it's time for this baby bird to try her wings and fly!!!

As with any fledgling, starting out on her own, I am taking this one little step at a time. I am slowly purchasing all of the plates and materials from my already designed stamps from Tracey and at first my inventory will be limited. I will be offering all the florals and bugs from my first release as well as all the cute pond friends from my second. These stamps will be sold in sets, mounted on cling foam and packaged in convenient cd cases for easy storage. Then as time and money permits, I will add the other stamps in my line which were released through SA. However, I dont wish to bore you all with only stamps you've already seen so I will also be offering some brand new images early this year as well. Plus I will be adding other mounting options and offering acrylic blocks and other accessories as we grow.

So make sure you dont miss out on any of the new info and samples by subscribing to this blog now. I'll be sharing my progress as well as samples and other fun stuff as we get closer to opening. Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have at artfullyinking@comcast.net .
